This class has been great for me to see what we can use in the classroom today. When I was growing up most of my classes were lecture and worksheets. The big tech things I got was printout of the PowerPoints to help me study from one of my teachers. But as I see technology is huge in helping students express and apply their understanding. I saw this in the field when students were able to either hand make a book report, or digitally. Their was a wide range of projects, but it was exciting to see the students research instantly and then use technology instantly to apply their understanding.
my philosophy in teaching is that we as teachers should tailor the lesson the best we can to fit the individual. That is where I see the use of technology being super beneficial. Also Tech can help keep a classroom clean. When I was in the field the teacher had all papers and a good chunk of projects done on google drive. this way the students never lost their paper and she could grade them anywhere she was at. So that is how I want to use tech, to help me in grading and giving quick feedback. Also allowing tech to be an avenue for students to learn more and apply more individually.
